Check OUt Procedures for Foster Teens

Check Out Procedure

Please do the following prior to leaving this residence.
Have this form signed before exiting the building.
_______Turn in keys or pay for cost.
_______Return all books or borrowed items or pay for cost
______Remove sheets and blankets from the bed:
______Wash sheets, pillow case and under pad (one fitted one flat sheet)
_____Fold clean sheets, and pillow case and put on shelves in bathroom closet
_____Replace clean under-pad on the mattress
_____Put pillow in the sun to disinfect and dry thoroughly.

_____Wash towels in wash maching ( you get an extra laundry day this week only), dry, fold. Count them, two bath towels, 6 hand towels, 6 wash cloths
______Place on shelf in bathroom closet.
_____Remove all your private supplies from closet and medicine closet.
This does not include items supplied by house such as deodorant, shampoo, razors or shaving cream. Please leave those on the shelf.
______Do not take anything that you have bought with money supplied you by the state or your parents.
______Empty all drawers. Wipe them with wood cleaner from spray bottle.
______Sweep and dust mop all edges, corners, under bed middle and closet floors.
______Dust window sills, window blinds, fan blades.
______Pack your things in boxes or plastic bags, do not use White draw string bags from kitchen.
______Double check that all your personal items and clothing has been removed.
______Double check that the room is left in clean sanitary condition.
______Empty and wash out waste basket.
Use the sink cleanser and the mesh sponge provided.
Dry the sink and counter top area with a dry towel.
Deposit the towel in the white towel hamper in the bathroom.
Sweep the floor and shake the rugs outside.
Use the broom, mop and dust pan in the closet.
Damp mop the entire floor daily, especially around the toilet bowel.

Flush and Clean the Toilet after Every Use.
Be sure to sanitize the sides of the toilet bowel inside and outside, because that’s where your urine runs down.
Use toilet sanitizer, pine-sol, or chlorine bleach to sanitize (supervision required).
You can use the toilet brush or a rag for doing this. Deposit the rag in the towel hamper to be washed.
Wipe the rim of the toilet, under the ring, the top of the ring, the under part of the “lid” and the top of the lid.
Wipe and sanitize the space between the lid and the tank.
Wipe off the top, front and sides of the water tank.
Replace toilet tissue if needed.
Wash your hands after doing this.

Turn in all of April’s 4 the Youth reports signed:
Medicine chart
Fire drill
Four weeks of schedules
Copy of school grades
The following items belong to the Fetzers, do not remove them from the house.
2 Laundry Baskets
Waste basket for bathroom and bedroom
Whit drawers and drawer frames.
Sheets, towels, bed pad, blankets, and other linins.
Fire extinguishers
Wooden bat given to you for stewardship while living here.
